# Terms of Service

Terms for using transcript.im transcription, AI, storage, billing, and API features.

These terms govern use of transcript.im. By using the service, you agree to use it lawfully, respect third-party rights, and provide accurate account and billing information.

## Using the service

- You are responsible for the URLs, media, text, and instructions you submit and for having permission to process and use them.
- Do not use the service to violate law, privacy, copyright, platform rules, or another person’s rights; distribute malware; bypass security or limits; scrape private data; or interfere with the service.
- Public-platform content remains subject to the platform owner’s terms and the rights of its creators.

## Accounts and security

You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting passwords, sessions, and API keys. Notify support promptly if you believe your account or credentials were compromised.

## Plans, billing, and usage limits

Paid features, included usage, renewal periods, prices, and cancellation options are shown on the pricing and account pages. Taxes and provider processing may apply. Every plan has published server-transcript, ASR, AI Credit, batch, rate, and concurrency limits; annual subscriptions receive twelve months of included usage at the start of the annual billing period.

## AI and transcription output

Transcripts and AI-generated output may contain omissions, timing errors, mistranslations, hallucinations, or incorrect summaries. The service does not promise a universal accuracy level or completion time. You are responsible for review before publication or consequential use.

## Your content and product rights

You retain rights you already hold in your submitted content. You grant transcript.im the limited permission needed to process, store, transmit, and display that content to operate the features you request. The product, software, branding, and original site content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

## Availability and changes

Features can change, fail, or become unavailable, including when a source platform, provider, or network changes. We may suspend abusive or unlawful activity, protect users and infrastructure, or comply with legal obligations. We may update these terms and will update the date shown on this page for material changes.
